She is a nominated trustee of the British Lymphology Society – a powerful charity providing a dynamic voice in the best practice guidelines for Lymphoedema, Lipoedema and Venous insufficiency related conditions.
Also is a Clinical Advisor for Haddenham Healthcare Ltd – working closely with NHS lymphoedema services to help get the best compression for patients with complex presentations.
Post surgical MLD is a passion for Karen. She works part time with CC Kat & Co in Edgbaston Birmingham, treating patients who have had liposuction, vaser lipo, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation & mastopexy, facial surgery & brachioplasty.
Overall by keeping abreast with current educational updates and applying these in treatment protocols The Lighter Touch is a centre of excellence in holistic approaches to health care.
